Charlie Mae Stories began as something small and personal. Just a few ideas, a few memories, and a desire to tell stories that make people feel a little less alone in the world.
Some stories are silly. Some are magical. Some are a little heavy. But every single one of them is written with the same goal: to help children feel seen, understood, and brave enough to be themselves.
Not every child grows up feeling like they fit perfectly into the world around them. Some kids feel different. Some kids feel big feelings. Some kids carry worries that adults don’t always see.
Stories can help with that.
Stories can say the things that are hard to explain. Stories can show kids they are not the only ones. Stories can make space for healing, laughter, and imagination.
That’s what Charlie Mae is about.
